Au nom du Bureau du CISH, nous souhaitons informer tous les membres que nous suivons l’évolution de la situation au Moyen-Orient avec une attention et une inquiétude particulières depuis le 7 octobre 2023. À la lumière de l’escalade en cours, nous avons convenu que les conditions ne permettaient pas de préparer sereinement le Congrès de 2026 à Jérusalem. Le Bureau , en accord avec la Société historique d’Israël, a décidé de reporter le Congrès du CISH en 2028 et d’organiser un Congrès dédié au centenaire du CISH en 2026. Lors de l’Assemblée générale qui se tiendra à Tokyo le 27 octobre 2024, nous discuterons des modalités d’organisation du Congrès du centenaire.
L’Assemblée générale aura lieu après la conférence Crossings and Connections: East Asia and the World, c1800-1945 à l’Université Teikyo, Tokyo, le 26 octobre 2024. La date limite de soumission des propositions de communication pour le Congrès qui se tiendra en 2026 est confirmée au 30 avril 2024.Le 4 avril 2024

XXIII International Congress of Historical Sciences, Poznań 2020/2022: Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian historians
The Board of CISH would like to inform of its intention to promote the participation of as many Ukrainian historians as possible in the Congress, with the dedication of 10,000 Swiss Francs from its Solidarity Fund to that end.
The Board recommends that the local organizers arrange a round table to investigate topics from Ukrainian and Russian history in order to facilitate a historical discussion of the current situation for the general public.

Sixième conférence mondiale de la Fédération Internationale pour l’Histoire Publique (IFPH), Berlin 16-20 août 2022
En raison de la pandémie mondiale, la 6e conférence mondiale de la Fédération Internationale pour l’Histoire Publique, initialement prévue en août 2020, a dû être reportée deux fois. Un nouvel appel à contributions a été publié.
Il n’y a pas de thème de conférence spécifique ni d’accent mis sur une époque historique particulière. Les propositions couvrant un large éventail de l’histoire publique sont les bienvenues, telles que : Pratique de l’histoire publique et engagement civique, Mémoire, Digital, Médias, Performance, Questions professionnelles.
La date finale pour toutes les candidatures est le 31 janvier 2022.

XXIIIème Congrès International des Sciences Historiques Poznań 2020/2022: Fonds de Solidarité
Conformément à sa tradition et avec le soutien important de généreux sponsors, le Comité d’organisation du XXIIIème Congrès International des Sciences Historiques Poznań 2020/2022 a créé un Fonds de Solidarité pour les historiens qui désirent participer au Congrès.
Le soutien sera accordé sous la forme de:
a) d’un hébergement gratuit dans les dortoirs de l’Université Adam Mickiewicz pour 150 participants;
b) d’une exonération des frais d’inscription pour 100 participants;
c) de subventions de voyage pour 60 participants.
La date limite de dépôt des candidatures est fixée au 31 janvier 2022.

Congress 2020/2022: Additional Call for Panels
In view of the cancellation of several panels, the ICHS and the Organizing Committee of the Congress in Poznań have decided to permit applications for new panels in three categories: Specialized Themes, Joint Sessions and Round Tables.
We would like to remind you of the guidelines ruling the process of selection:
- Only members of ICHS (national committees, affiliated and internal commissions) are invited to send their proposals.
- The format of the sessions remains unchanged, according to the resolutions of the General Assemblies:
- Specialized Themes: sessions proposed by individual ICHS members; they last three hours and the number of contributors must not exceed six persons;
- Joint Sessions: convened by at least two members of ICSH, they last three hours and may include no more than six participants;
- Round Tables: discussions of a substantial paper related to a major question and written by the convener of the session; the number of participants must not exceed five persons (including organizer), the sessions last for three hours.
- The themes should be sufficiently varied and innovative, concerning, if possible, several regions of the world.
- The organizers must provide a short presentation of the theme of the session (5,000 characters in Word format) by filling the form enclosed below with their contact information.
- Please bear in mind that the ICHS working languages are exclusively English, French and Spanish.
Each association, through its representatives, must return the proposals to the CISH General Secretary Prof. Edoardo Tortarolo (CISH.secretary.general@gmail.com) before August 1st, 2021. Please find here the form for the session proposals.
The Board will announce selection of the proposals by September 30th, 2021.
