CISH is committed to protecting your privacy and provides this Privacy Policy to explain what data is strictly necessary, how we use it, and how you can correct or update your information.
We cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the Internet; in particular, there is a risk of unauthorized access by third parties when data is sent by email.
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We consider protecting your privacy to be of the utmost importance. Compliance with applicable data protection laws is a matter of course for us. We believe data protection begins with transparency, and our goal is to ensure that you always know which of your personal data we store, how we use it, and how you can restrict or prevent its use.
We use the Logaholic Web Analytics tool from Logaholic BV (1114 AK Amsterdam, Netherlands) for the statistical analysis of website usage without personal references.
What is personal data?

CISH is committed to protecting your privacy. Contacting us
When you contact us (for example, via a contact form or email), the information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. Data from individuals applying for CISH membership is transferred to the CISH member database.
Payrexx
Payrexx is a Switzerland-based service we use to accept donations. This service provider is contractually bound to CISH and may use personal data received in this context only for the agreed purposes. See Payrexx Guidelines.
Social media
Our website includes links for sharing posts via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Xing. When you click a sharing button on our site, data may be transmitted to the respective service when that service’s website loads. Logaholic and web server logs
We host our website with Hostpoint AG (8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland). Hostpoint AG creates standard web server log files for every access to this website containing the following information: IP address, date and time (including time zone), browser request including the referrer, operating system including user interface and version, browser including language and version, amount of data transferred, and duration of visit and click behavior. The log files are used to identify technical issues, ensure security, and perform statistical analysis of website usage using the Logaholic Web Analytics software employed by our hosting provider.
Access, objections, and questions
You may request information, free of charge and without undue delay, about any data we hold about you or any username assigned to you by contacting info@cish.org. We reserve the right to provide this information electronically. You also have the right to object at any time to further use of your personal data. We do not retain modified or deleted personal data. For requests or objections, you must provide sufficient personal details and valid proof that the data concerns you. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time in accordance with applicable law.
