The Prize was first awarded at the CISH General Assembly of 2015 in Amsterdam. Laureates include\u00a0Serge Gruzinski (Paris), G\u00e1bor Klaniczay (Budapest), Sanjay Subrahmanyam (Los Angeles),\u00a0Laura de Mello e Souza (S\u00e3o Paulo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Terms and conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Prize is awarded nominally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Prize cannot be awarded posthumously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No personal application can be made<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The members of the&nbsp;CISH will&nbsp;send their proposal to the CISH office. Only one proposal can be received per member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The proposals must&nbsp;include a statement detailing the work of the nominee&nbsp;and give as many elements as possible (CV, books, articles, etc.) to inform the members of the jury.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The members of the Board of&nbsp;CISH&nbsp;form the jury according to the guidelines voted on during the General Assembly in Jinan in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals will be submitted to the&nbsp;CISH office:&nbsp;<a href=\"m&#97;&#x69;&#x6c;t&#111;&#x3a;&#x6f;f&#102;&#x69;&#x63;e&#64;&#x63;&#x69;s&#104;&#x2e;&#x6f;r&#103;\">o&#102;&#102;&#x69;&#x63;&#x65;&#64;c&#105;&#115;&#x68;&#x2e;&#x6f;r&#103;<\/a>&nbsp;before 31 May 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awardee will be honored publicly during the&nbsp;<strong>General Assembly of&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>CISH<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;in Leipzig in August 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Call for Applications International Prize for History Awarded by Comit\u00e9 International des Sciences Historiques (CISH) The Prize is given to individuals deserving of special recognition by reason of\u00a0their outstanding contributions to knowledge in the historical discipline through their works, publications and teaching.
