{"id":2760,"date":"2021-05-06T13:30:28","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T12:30:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cish.org\/?p=2760"},"modified":"2021-09-12T17:13:30","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T16:13:30","slug":"congress-2020-2022-additional-call-for-panels-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cish.org\/index.php\/en\/2021\/05\/06\/congress-2020-2022-additional-call-for-panels-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Congress 2020\/2022: Additional Call for Panels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In view of &nbsp;the cancellation of several panels, the ICHS and the Organizing Committee of the Congress in Pozna\u0144 have decided to permit applications for new panels in three categories: Specialized Themes, Joint Sessions and Round Tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to remind you of the <strong>guidelines ruling the process of selection<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Only members of ICHS (national committees, affiliated and internal commissions) are invited to send their proposals.<\/li><li>The format of the sessions remains unchanged, according to the resolutions of the General Assemblies:<ul><li><strong>Specialized Themes<\/strong>: sessions proposed by individual ICHS members; they last three hours and the number of contributors must not exceed six persons;<\/li><li><strong>Joint Sessions<\/strong>: convened by at least two members of ICSH, they last three hours and may include no more than six participants;<\/li><li><strong>Round Tables<\/strong>: discussions of a substantial paper related to a major question and written by the convener of the session; the number of participants must not exceed five persons (including organizer), the sessions last for three hours.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The themes should be sufficiently varied and innovative, concerning, if possible, several regions of the world.<\/li><li>The organizers must provide a short presentation of the theme of the session (5,000 characters in Word format) by filling the form enclosed below with their contact information.<\/li><li>Please bear in mind that the ICHS working languages are exclusively English, French and Spanish.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each association, through its representatives, must return the proposals to the CISH General Secretary Prof. Edoardo Tortarolo (&#x43;I&#x53;&#72;&#x2e;&#115;e&#x63;&#114;&#x65;&#116;a&#x72;&#121;&#x2e;&#103;e&#x6e;e&#x72;&#97;&#x6c;&#x40;g&#x6d;&#97;&#x69;&#108;&#46;&#x63;&#111;&#x6d;) before <strong>August 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2021<\/strong>.
