Only the collective members of the CISH &#8211; its national committees or its international affiliated organizations &#8211; may present candidates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the first laureate of this prize, the jury &#8211; the Board of the CISH, which has 12 members from different countries \u2013 selected as the winner, from a pool of excellent and highly-qualified candidates, Serge Gruzinski (\u00c9cole des hautes \u00e9tudes en sciences sociales and CNRS, Paris, France).\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cish.org\/index.php\/en\/2015\/09\/21\/serge-gruzinski-awarded-the-international-prize-of-history-the-cish-jaeger-lecoultre-history-prize\/\">More information<br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In 2016, the International Prize for History CISH was awarded to G\u00e1bor Klaniczay,\u00a0professor of Medieval Studies at the Central European University (Budapest) for the excellence of its works. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cish.org\/index.php\/en\/2016\/07\/04\/gabor-klaniczay-awarded-the-2016-international-price-for-history-cishjaeger-lecoultre\/\">More information<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In 2022 the International Prize for History CISH was awarded to Sanjay Subrahmanyam.
